After almost three years of a successful practice together, Attorneys Pablo Carranza & Terry Frederick decided to dissolve Carranza & Frederick, LLP and embark in different directions in the practice of law.  As a result, Carranza Law Group, LLC & Frederick/Nicholson, LLC were formed.

 

4/1/08

Two new hires: Norma-Jean Simon, a recent UW graduate, joins the firm as a paralegal.  Hanna Kolberg, a first-year law student at the UW Law School, joins the firm as a law clerk.

 

5/19/08

Two associate attorneys join the firm: Attys. Annemarie (Cane) Arendsen & Jon Stanek.

 

6/1/08

Hanna left our firm to take advantage of an exciting internship opportunity with the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

 

8/11/08

The Carranza Law Group, LLC moves its offices out of downtown Madison and into the Chase Bank Building in Monona, Wisconsin.

 

9/1/08

Norma-Jean left our firm to prepare for her next endeavor: Grad school.  The firm welcomes three new law clerks: Payal Khandhar Adriaens; Robert Welygan; and Kirsten Reneau (all of whom are in their third year of law school).

 

9/8/08

Evelyn Cuevas joins the firm as a bilingual (Spanish) legal assistant.

 

11/11/08

Amy Goodier & Maria Erickson join our staff to assist with our ever-growing Spanish-speaking clientele.

 

12/1/08

Attorney Jon Stanek, who has been with the firm since May 2008, will be leaving us effective December 31, 2008.  He has decided to pursue ‘greener pastures’ by moving closer to home (the Minneapolis area) and making his legal skills available to those in Northwestern Wisconsin & Northeastern Minnesota.  For the time being, he continues to be available at:
